The Hopkinton Independent is the only newspaper in Hopkinton that is delivered to every home and business in Hopkinton. We reach more than 6,200 locations via the US Postal Service. The newspaper is available for pick up at no charge at many businesses in Hopkinton including: Colella’s, Hopkinton Drug, Phipps Insurance, RE/MAX, Town Hall and Town Library. The paper is also available at businesses in Ashland, Holliston, Milford, Westborough and Southborough. The Hopkinton Independent is published every two weeks.   • Zoning Advisory Committee Vacancy, flyer
    The Planning Board is seeking residents interested in serving on the Zoning Advisory Committee.

    The Board is looking for residents who will be energized and committed to addressing various zoning related topics in depth, and committed to attending regular evening meetings generally from September through February. The Planning Board is looking forward to appointing a vital, creative and energetic Committee.

    The work program for the Committee will be developed following a Public Forum in the fall of 2015. Terms are for one year, and no prior experience is necessary. Appointments will be made on August 24, 2015.

    It has come to my attention today that a company or companies are conducting telephone requests for funding to assist the Hopkinton Fire Department. At this time the Hopkinton Fire Department and Hopkinton Permanent Firefighters Local 3772 ARE NOT conducting any fund raising efforts with outside entities.
