Greetings!The Hopkinton Independent is the only newspaper in Hopkinton that is delivered to every home and business in Hopkinton. We reach more than 6,200 locations via the US Postal Service. The newspaper is available for pick up at no charge at many businesses in Hopkinton including: Colella’s, Hopkinton Drug, Phipps Insurance, RE/MAX, Town Hall and Town Library. The paper is also available at businesses in Ashland, Holliston, Milford, Westborough and Southborough. The Hopkinton Independent is published every two weeks.     Many of us have now been inside Water Fresh Farm Marketplace since opening its doors to the public this past January. It would be interesting to know how many people have thought about the meaning of the market’s name. Water Fresh Farm’s produce is true to its name. Key produce of tomatoes, lettuce, basil, cucumbers, and spinach have been grown right on premise for 14 years and not in soil, but rather hydroponically.     It has come to my attention today that a company or companies are conducting telephone requests for funding to assist the Hopkinton Fire Department. At this time the Hopkinton Fire Department and Hopkinton Permanent Firefighters Local 3772 ARE NOT conducting any fund raising efforts with outside entities.
